Adult Learners & Mental Overload

Trainers should consider the fact that adults have a lot of things on their mind. As they sit in the room purportedly listening to the presenter, they may also be thinking about home and family issues, financial concerns, health issues, job related pressures and life stressors in general.

The challenge for the trainer is how to help the individual participant stay focused on the key topics and objectives of the training session.
