1.    Make sure that course objectives are measurable and achievable. Participants want to believe… that they can gain and benefit from attending the workshop. Promoting objectives that seem unachievable within the context of a six hour workshop will have your audience feeling that they are wasting their time even if your content is good.

2.    Under-promise and over deliver on content, relevance, process, and learning. By the end of the workshop participants must clearly feel that they have got much more than they expected.
